What This Means

The GC Cloud SaaS Method of Supply catalogue is the Government of Canada’s approved list of cloud SaaS solutions that federal departments can procure through a streamlined process. Being listed means Canadian government buyers can now find and procure CloudExpat directly through the GC Hosting Services Portal, without going through a separate competitive procurement cycle.

Two offerings are now listed:

OfferingPart NumberBilling
CloudExpat Platform – Marketplace BusinessCXOPT-MP-BUS-1YPer subscription, annual
CloudExpat Platform – Marketplace ProfessionalCXOPT-MP-PRO-1YPer subscription, annual

Both offerings cover cost and carbon optimization for AWS, Azure, and GCP workloads.

Why It Matters

Government cloud spend in Canada is growing fast. Federal departments are under pressure to optimize costs while meeting sustainability targets — and they need tools that fit within approved procurement channels.

This listing removes the procurement friction. IT teams in federal departments can now:

  • Find CloudExpat in the GC Hosting Services Portal catalogue
  • Procure through existing government channels — no separate RFP required
  • Optimize across AWS, Azure, and GCP from a single platform
  • Track carbon impact alongside cost savings

A Validation Milestone

Getting listed in the GC Cloud catalogue requires meeting the Government of Canada’s standards for cloud SaaS delivery. For us, this is a strong validation of the platform’s maturity and an important step toward broader public sector adoption.

We’re proud to be part of the catalogue alongside other trusted SaaS providers serving the Government of Canada.
